expecting us to be okay

Moments enough to capture a lifetime
While anyone ask me if I regretted anything in life? Well I only regretted giving so much of my time to ministry and work! Yup! Ministry is never the same as putting God first! I don’t regret spending time doing my quiet time with God everyday for an hour or so! What I regretted was all the time spent on people that are total strangers aft being so closed to them for a big chunk of my life! It is like my time invested being there for them, building them up, preparing sermons & arrangements, counseling them, handling their every problem aside from my full time job and my family life!
It is so taxing that I’ve given so much of my time away that at the moment when I reflect I’m just happy to hoard my time for myself! Yeah you read it well, my time is very limited! I’ve spent 35 years away! 🤣 Basically, I started my first job when I was 20 so I just had a break when my bae came into the world and that was not a break I tell you!!! Hahaha it’s much more exhaustive than working coz you have a human baby to raise and breastfeed and is clingy and you feel like you are so motherly and you want to give your very best!
But I still do really love people but just the timing atm I could only love my best from afar coz duh one moment covid case arises one moment I’m not sure if my bae is willing to allow me to put her full day so..
