Him and Me
At this hour everyone is sleeping soundly
The only time I could have my own space
My only moments with God who is fatherly
I only wish to seek Him face to face
Nothing matters, no one to bogged me down
It is only Him and me that is significant
Where I am just being me in a pajamas gown
Reminded of all His promises and covenant
He is indeed my Father who cares deeply
Deep enough to feel how I feel inside
By lifting me and comforting me lovingly
I am so blessed to have Him to confide
It is your love that breaks the hardest heart
It is your mercy that renews every Lil part
